...Apt-Zeroconf!

I have been putting more effort into getting apt-zeroconf in shape for Karmic. I have had some help from Niel Shepperd amongst others from the Apt-ZeroConf team. In addition to 0.6 developer branch, We have a 0.5 stable branch which is feature frozen and bugs are being erradicated. I encourage the brave to test and report bugs and solutions to our Launchpad Bug Tracker.

...ULLU-Finger Lakes, NY!

My local Linux User Group is holding their next meet-up on July 21st at 7pm at Friendlys Resturant in Geneva, NY. I am looking forward to helping to establish a strong Linux presence here in the Finger Lakes between the cities. I hope to many new faces at this next meeting from throughout Cayuga, Ontario, Wayne, Seneca and Yates Counties.

...New York State Ubuntu Community Team!

I have been quite busy with my other projects, but Charles has been keeping Rochester quite busy. I am still looking for volunteers to help coordinate activities in their communities with the assistance of the state team. The team is also trying once more to get the blessings of the Local Community Council and become officially recognized. I will be at their next meeting to answer their questions about our teams activities and goals. We also have our next IRC meeting coming up on July 20th at 9pm on Freenode IRC #ubuntu-us-ny.
