I am at an impasse with apt-zeroconf. I am fairly confident the code is sound and relatively bug free for a 0.5.2 release. I have come, however, to the limit of my ability to package it for Ubuntu. I keep running into issues with dpkg loosing the Python Path for apt-zeroconf modules. I also have encountered strange errors with the init script.
If you have the time and skill, I encourage you to examine the current 0.5 stable branch, where the debian directory is also included. Your help with the Apt-ZeroConf team to solve its 0.5.2 packaging issues will be much appreciated.
ULLU-Finger Lakes, NY is holding their next meet-up on July 21st at 7pm at Friendlys Resturant in Geneva, NY. I would love to see a few new faces at our meetup for Linux users from throughout Cayuga, Ontario, Wayne, Seneca and Yates Counties. The group is fairly informal, so all you really need is your desire to meet other Linux users from your local area.
